A Family Growing!

Jumping back into my business, I got this amazing message from a family looking for maternity and newborn photos.  I got the opportunity to jump in my car and travel a little bit (which I really enjoy!) to meet this family.

I love doing Lifestyle photo sessions.  In someone's home.  Natural and real.  How families should look.

This guy was so great with his twin two-year-old sisters and did such a great job during the session!

And this Momma and Dad to be are so excited to welcome their new daughter in a few days!

I can't wait to go back in a couple weeks and take photos of them again with their new addition!

Here's a few more from their session!

If you are interested in a Lifestyle session, please head on over to my Facebook page at and shoot me a message!

Little Miss Violet

I got the wonderful opportunity to do a photo session for 9 day new Violet.  I had to trek out to Chicago for this little one but she was such a sweetheart to work with!  So worth the drive!  Here's a collection of her photos.

Welcome to the world, Violet!

If you are interested in a photo session for your newborn or family, click on the 'Contact' link on the upper right menu!  I serve Walworth & Kenosha Counties in Wisconsin as well as Lake County, IL.  I do travel to other areas as well, so you can always ask!

Beautiful Baby Sessions

Thanks for stopping by!  I've decided to do a little business restructuring and wanted to share one of the brand new things I'll be offering!

They are called Beautiful Baby Sessions!  These will be your new favorite sessions!!  This will be a session with a few different background settings in my home studio for babies 1 year and under.  If it's nice out, we can even go outside for a few!  Throw in a cake smash if you like!

So what does this include?  For a $500 session fee, you will receive an hour to an hour and a half of time for your session.  I will upload the session photos to an online gallery where you can pick 15 of your favorites.  Those digital files will be sent to you on a separate gallery for immediate download.  Like more than 15?  You can pick extra digital files for $50 each or bundle the rest for an extra $200!  With every session paid in full, though, I'm going to give you a $100 towards digital files.  So that's 2 FREE digital files!

The Beautiful Baby Session is not just about photos though.  I'll also take video so you can not only remember what your babies looked like but you can relive these moments over and over in a really sweet video!  I'm so very excited about this addition to your photo sessions!  Check out this sample I did with my daughter, Mallory!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Mallory's session!

If you are interested in one of these sessions, please head to the Contact Me link on the right side of this blog!

Some Peachy Fun!

I know that I've been kind of a lot behind in sharing photos with everyone.  I do my best but sometimes life gets the best of me.  Happens to all of us every so often, I'm sure!  I did want to pause life though for a few moments and talk about Peach's Neet Feet.  If you've read my previous blogs you have probably seen that I have been working hard to help out and to fundraise for their organization.

At the beginning of May I attended my first Peach Party.  This particular Peach Party was organized to honor the lives of two little girls, Camryn and Penelope, who both lost their battles with cancer in the last year.  It was a more than privilege to be there.  Much more.

I brought Mallory with me as well as two of my other boys, Andrew and Quentin.  Iowa was about a 5 & 1/2 hour drive, but I knew we could handle it.  When we arrived, we were immediately in need of a feeding!  Luckily, there was a Fuddrucker's right down the street from the hotel.  I was pretty excited about this because I hadn't been to a Fuddrucker's in over ten years!  I had a good time taking the kids out to eat and hanging out in a new city.

After dinner we headed back to the hotel and spent a little time at the pool (I made a promise!).  This momma was so tired though after that drive that after about an hour or so at the pool, it was time to go back to the room and get some sleep!

I think we all slept pretty soundly and were ready for the full day ahead!

We got up in the morning, got packed up, took a selfie (well Andrew did), spun in a chair (that would be Quentin) and made our way to the Peach Party.

I  have to tell you, it was such a great experience.

When we walked in, everyone knew exactly who we were.  Most likely because of Mallory but Madison's (Peach) Mom knew our names.  Like she takes the time to make sure she knows who everyone is that'll be there that day.  It's so meaningful and so important.  I hope she knows that.

With in minutes, Mallory was scooped up and taken away to play with everyone and I started setting up my photo area.  Andrew was my second shooter.  I spend most of our car ride up teaching him how to shoot in manual.  I think he just may grow up to be a better photographer than I am!

I told him to seek out moments he thought looked important and special.  This kid was on a mission.  He had even made a special Peach rainbow loom bracelet just for Madsion and wanted to make sure he took her picture with it!

We met so many wonderful people and super awesome kids!  We played, we took photos and we had a great time!  You could feel the sense of togetherness and the love from everyone there.

I really just want to post some of the photos we (myself and Andrew) were able to capture through out the day.  That's the only way to show how great it all was!

I am so happy we were able to go along for this journey.  I'm blessed that we've been able to be even a small part of Peach's Neet Feet.

That leads me to the second part of our Peachy Fun.

A few weeks later, I organized a fundraiser.  With all the proceeds going towards Peach's Neet Feet.  I very fortunately got connected with a great place and a great owner at the Jazzercise studio in Lombard.

I set up some mini sessions there as well and we had a great time!

It was also great to meet some new friends, friends we'd known from Facebook, but friends that have been on a similar journey as ours!  We loved meeting Tinley, David and Sarah.  We loved seeing Sarah and Hunter and their family again!  We loved seeing old friends and photography clients.  We really loved the family that came and showed us and Peach's Neet Feet some support!  I couldn't be more grateful!

Being involved with Peach's Neet Feet and helping their mission has really filled me with such joy.  I really love Madison's organization and I can't wait to see what the future holds.  But as long as she is doing what she does and continues to 'Hustle Kindness' I am going to keep on helping the best way I can because this is what brings people together.  Families.  Children.  Communities.  One person can make a difference.

If you'd like to help and donate to Peach's Neet Feet, please head to their website at,  and make a difference now!
